The PILATESBODY Story

Kayla founded PILATESBODY by Kayla to offer a safe, intimate, in-person workout studio and online program community to help people find a deeper connection to their core and quality of movement.

Kayla was a collegiate gymnast who suffered multiple injuries. These athletic injuries caused early-onset arthritis and chronic back pain. She then discovered that Pilates, a low-impact strength training, and yoga best suited her lifestyle.

After working for Life Time Fitness for 5 years, it was time for Kayla to find a way to connect with more people like her. Kayla is fierce, committed, loyal and passionate about helping others look and feel their best. Not only their best physically but also mentally.

Now, at PILATESBODY, Kayla designs fitness programs for her clients. Kayla specializes in low-impact, functional fitness to help clients build a foundation, find their core, deep abdominal muscles and breath. Together, they create Training Plans designed around what their body needs most while focusing on the 4 S’s of Strength, Stability, Stamina and Stretch. We will work hard to correct posture, breathe, but most importantly have fun. Kayla likes to say, “You’re only as old as you feel, so let’s stay forever young!” 

Kayla is committed to helping moms achieve their goals pre and postnatal. No more thinking you’ll never fit back into those pre-baby jeans, you will and you’ll rock them better than before! As a first time mom, Kayla discovered how important deep core muscles, breathing and body awareness were for labor, delivery and postpartum recovery. With a solid foundation, Kayla was able to have a successful & safe natural birth. Postpartum rehab was slow and gentle, but revolved around the core and breath for weeks.
