With 21 low-impact, body-weight workouts requiring minimal equipment, and coaching from me (certified Pilates instructor), this challenge was created with care to specifically support women who are experiencing common health roadblocks.

Pilates Core Assessments

The entire PILATESBODY Challenge focuses on low-impact strength training, breathwork, and posture. All-inclusive Pilates workouts provide exercises and movements for core, glutes, abs, and recovery stretching. Unlike other workout challenges, a unique feature to the PILATESBODY Challenge is the Core Assessment; used to fully evaluate your core strength and track your results.

360° Approach to a Healthy(ish) Lifestyle

You may have heard the saying “Abs are made in the kitchen.” And while, yes, nutrition is important, we are all about balance here—and sometimes balance means we devour the leftover chicken nuggets and mac & cheese our kids just ate. Lisa of 2 Hungry Daughters will be your go-to for everything food related during the PILATESBODY Challenge. You will receive her 10 Simple Ingredient Healthy Recipe Guide filled with her family’s favorite wholesome, easy recipes with simple ingredients. A little background on Lisa—She grew up in a small town in Northern Minnesota and has always loved cooking and baking, especially for her two hungry daughters. Lisa loves to eat healthy and exercise, but also really loves brownies, bread, fries, and ice cream and is here to tell you, YOU CAN ENJOY BOTH!

    I have tried multiple Diastasis Recti exercise programs over the last few years to try engaging my transverse abdominis muscles, but Kayla’s 8-Week Challenge has been the most effective. By the end of the 8 weeks, I actually could feel all of the different muscle groups that she instructed us on. I feel better in my clothes.     I really appreciated that the On-Demand workout videos averaged about 30-minutes long. Having 3 young children, this aspect was very important to me! I got into a groove of getting my kids to bed and then heading down to my basement to workout. I loved how the workout videos were self-paced so I could fit them in whenever I could find the time. I even brought some workout gear with me on vacation and didn’t miss a day! I also really liked that there was a built-in weekly rest day. Inevitably, I would either be too busy or too tired one day during the week to get that workout in, and the rest day allowed me to skip that day and make it up the next day. I am so glad that I joined the 8-week challenge. I definitely feel stronger and more energized because of it!

    I’ve always heard the term “use your core” and never really knew what that meant. My pants fit better and I feel like my love handles have shrunk, but more excitingly, I definitely have less low back pain. This challenge has helped me to realize I was engaging my hip flexors incorrectly. I can now engage my core to pull my legs up rather than relying on my hip flexors or my hamstrings. I would recommend this challenge to anyone who wants to be more educated on how to engage their core properly but also expand on that to see improvements! Kayla offers great modifications for exercises that prove to be challenging and you can take it at your pace. It was so nice to be able to do it from home so I could fit it into my busy schedule.

When can I start the PILATESBODY Challenge?

You can start this challenge when you feel ready to commit to a full 8-weeks of daily workouts. It is recommended to start the challenge with our Exclusive Community & Coaching Group.

What coaching is included?

You will be coached daily, by yours truly! Every workout is a follow-along video where I coach & demonstrate to you every single exercise and movement. You will also receive additional Coaching & Community support in our Exclusive Facebook Group, where you can also ask questions.

What equipment do I need for this challenge?

The following equipment is necessary for this challenge. If you need to purchase some, or all, equipment to prepare yourself for the challenge launch, please visit the PILATESBODY by Kayla Amazon Shop to see the products & brands we recommend.

What if I am pregnant?

* Please consult with your doctor to find out their recommendations for you and your unique pregnancy. * You can still do this challenge pregnant through your 2nd trimester, but you may need to avoid prolonged time on your back or belly. I recommend you avoid any exercises if you start to notice pregnancy coning and add in additional breathing exercises throughout your entire pregnancy.

When can I start the workout challenge postpartum?

* You can start this challenge as soon as you receive approval from your doctor. * Please note, this is NOT an Ab Rehab Program. If you have Diastasis Recti, or Pelvic Floor Dysfunction, I would recommend addressing those issues prior to starting this challenge.
