Plymouth Farmers Market Haul + Mint Cucumber Infused Water Recipe

Every Wednesday, I attend the Plymouth Farmers Market located in Plymouth, MN at Parker’s Lake from 2:30-6:30pm. This particular Farmers Market features tons of local vendors with fresh produce, meat, oils, bread, flowers, soaps and so much more! I was even able to score some awesome, fresh ingredients to make my Mint Cucumber Infused Water Recipe! (Recipe below.)

I love supporting local whenever I have the chance. I also love picking up fresh food straight from the garden! It requires a bit more work to wash and prepare the foods once we get home, however, it makes me appreciate where my food comes from a bit more!

By the time I leave the Plymouth Farmers Market, my bags are always so full and heavy that I can hardly carry everything! Below, I have listed for you what I picked up this week at the farmers market. I’ve also included a few shout-outs to some local Minnesota Companies that I love!
This haul included zucchini, cucumber, mint, basil, dill, and green onion.
From Neumann Farms, a family-owned farm in Princeton, MN.
From Olive on Tap, tap to table in Minnetonka, MN. My favorite flavors are Rosemary, O.M.G (Orange Mango Grapefruit), Cilantro Lime, Lemon.
From Barthel’s River Road Gold, harvested and bottled in Saint Michael, MN.
And, as promised, here is my Mint Cucumber Infused Water Recipe! Quick and easy, this is one of the ways I like to infuse my water in the summer time. Give it a try!

• Mint leaves
• Cucumber
• Water, and water pitcher
1. First, wash and trim the mint leaves. Set aside.
2. Next, wash and slice the cucumber.
3. Now, add the mint leaves and cucumber slices to a water pitcher. Fill the pitcher to the top with water.
4. Place your water pitcher in the refrigerator to allow the water to infuse over night. This ensures the best flavor!
5. Lastly, discard the mint leaves and cucumber slices, and enjoy your Mint Cucumber Infused Water!
Going to my local farmers markets is a way I fill my cup. I love the experience, the local vendors, and of course the yummy finds. Do you go to any local farmers markets?
