Before starting PILATESBODY by Kayla & PILATESBODY On-Demand, I was a retail manager for a large department store. Fun fact, that is actually what I went to college for. Little did I know, I’d only last 2 years in that industry. Unfortunately, that career led me to really dislike this time of year because of the long hours, demanding customers, no time for family, the hustle and bustle, and feeling like there was no more true “holiday spirit”. Fast forward 10 years, here I am, loving the holidays and doing all things family, creating our own traditions, and trying to slow down time.

The month of November represents gratitude and thankfulness. This year, I am beyond thankful for the direction PILATESBODY by Kayla is going and the growth of PILATESBODY On-Demand! None of this would be possible without our amazing clients and subscribers who continued to support me through my maternity leave and implementing our new online booking system!

PILATESBODY On-Demand has had so much growth since we launched in June of 2021, and we are releasing our 200th class on the App this month! Say What?! TWO HUNDRED CLASSES! Yes, I had to say that again. Amy Bizal (Amy Bizal Wellness), a certified yoga instructor and Green Lotus certified kid yoga instructor, and I have been growing this platform together for a year now. I still remember reaching out to her asking her to be a “guest instructor”. I waited until she felt it was the right time for her because I knew the teachings she would bring to the platform would add such tremendous value for our subscribers! And boy, does she bring it each month. Her classes are absolutely on fire, and as Amy says below, “our classes help people through each phase of their life”.

Amy shares with you below why she wanted to be part of PILATESBODY On-Demand, and why she continues to be a part of our amazing community:

“When I was asked to be a part of PILATESBODY On-Demand, I knew that I needed to say yes. Since the pandemic started, I have brought most of my yoga classes to an online studio. In return, I was given the opportunity to teach people all over the United States, and even some outside the USA. Unfortunately for me, there were so many that still wanted to practice with me, but with them being so far away and in different time zones, timing didn’t work out for them. I knew that PILATESBODY On-Demand would offer me the opportunity to get my classes into the hands of those students, but also give them the opportunity to learn from such an amazing Pilates instructor, Kayla, as well. They not only get to have access to all of my yoga classes I upload on the app, but they also have access to Pilates classes from Kayla that would help them through each phase of their life as well. I’ve been recording for PILATESBODY On-Demand for almost a year now, and every time I upload a new class I get excited for the opportunity to help more people find strength, confidence, and balance throughout their pregnancy and into postpartum.”
