Hey guys!

Wow! Summer sure flew by. My baby boy, Nash, will be turning 5 months old, and my daughter Bobbi is right around the corner of 2 ½ years old! Nash is a happy boy and is constantly smiling. Bobbi is sweet, sassy, and full of energy. She is loving gymnastics right now!

We have quickly gone from sunshine, pool hair, and ALL the watermelon and ice cream, to everything pumpkin spice, fall leaves, and cozy knit sweaters. Summer is by far my favorite season, and although I never want it to end, I do thoroughly enjoy fall weather. However, it is also a subtle reminder of what is to come soon – Those of us that live up in Minne’SNOW’ta know that I am talking about the frigid cold and snow. Brrr! But, for now, we are enjoying the lighter layers, bonfires, and everything else that comes with this fun change of season!

Generally, a change in season means a change in daily routine. Which for most families in the fall is the obvious… back-to-school time. But, this can also be a great time of the year to change up your workout routine! If you are new to our PILATESBODY On-Demand App, a big, warm welcome to you! Pilates At-Home Workouts With The PILATESBODY On-Demand App

Since having my daughter, Bobbi, in 2020, I have not stepped foot inside of a gym, or been able to attend a group fitness class. It is not feasible for me to workout outside of my home, and I have very much adapted to at-home Pilates workouts. I find that Pilates at-home helps keep my stress at bay, is a huge time saver (in that I can workout at home any time of the day my schedule allows), and it also allows me to show my kids what it means to stay active and fit!

What classes are on the App?

After subscribing, you will have instant access to over 190+ on-demand Pilates workouts and yoga workouts. Each class available on the app is a full-length, follow-along-style workout video with professional coaching during the entire class by our certified instructors.

New classes are added to the app every month and you have access to all classes during the lifetime of your subscription. Here is a list of our current workout class categories:

What fitness levels and body types are the workouts intended for?

Our workouts are designed for all experience levels and body types. In each video’s description, the workout is labeled either Level 1 (Beginner), Level 2 (Intermediate), or Level 3 (Advanced). Professional instruction on modifications, adjustments, and suggestions are given in our workout videos so you can customize the movements even further to fit your needs!

Can I do the workouts on the app if I am pregnant or postpartum?

Not only are our certified instructors Pilates and yoga professionals, they are also moms! We feature both pregnancy-safe workouts and postpartum-safe workouts on the app for you in both Pilates and yoga categories. However, it is ALWAYS IMPORTANT to listen to your body and consult with your doctor before starting any new form of exercise you are not used to. Please consult with your doctor to find out their recommendations for you and your unique pregnancy or postpartum state.

Because I have to hang onto summer for as long as I can, I am so thrilled to release two of our Live recorded, in-person, Poolside Pilates classes! Be on the lookout for more of these Poolside Pilates class recordings this winter. It will be such a wonderful way to warm up and dream about summer coming back again. There is also something about that sunshine glistening on the rippling water that makes the Pilates pulse feel a little bit better!

Beginner Fitness Pilates at the Pool Class

Kayla Brugger takes you through a Pilates workout for beginners. Be prepared to work your legs hard right at the start to get you nice and warm! You’ll explore some Pilates principles such as proper breathing, posture, and form in both tabletop and reclined positions to bring the focus to the core. This video is for people trying to understand Pilates basics while still feeling a burn!

This Postnatal Core Foundation Class with Amy uses Diastasis Recti Approved moves to help build core connection and begin to strengthen the core postpartum. If you are experiencing any gap between your abs, you can take this class to learn yoga poses that will help build connection to your core and build strength to help close that gap.

This class is a TRX Pilates workout is a perfect routine for beginners, or if you are just wanting to get a short workout in to wake up your abs. She begins class on all 4’s with a series of Pilates-inspired exercises that are great for toning and creating lean muscle, improving mobility, and flexibility. This low-impact, no jumping workout requires no equipment and there are no repeats, so we will keep that body guessing! You will move though core exercises and finish class with a leg circuit that will leave you with an all-in-one toned body.

This class will also use poses to strengthen and stretch the pelvic floor.
