I think you can tell that it is pretty obvious how much I love Pilates. But I’m not sure if it is as obvious to you why I started Pilates in the first place. And how much it has truly changed my life. Sure, I own a Pilates studio, started an on-demand Pilates workout app, and run Pilates challenges leading hundreds of women around the nation toward healthier lifestyles, well-being, and full body confidence–but my why goes much deeper than that.

Back & knee pain started for me in my teens. I had my first knee surgery in 8th grade. Into my adult life, I managed the pain and pushed my limits like I was taught in gymnastics. I’m sure you’re looking at photos and videos of me on my Instagram and saying to yourself, “She’s so strong and fit, I’m sure this all comes naturally to her”. But that’s just what you see on the outside.

On the inside, I was pushing through pain and discomfort and chasing high-intensity, heavy weights, and fitness goals that didn’t really matter. And really, all of this made me feel worse on the inside.

In 2020, Covid-19 hit and everything changed drastically for me, and you! I was pregnant in my third trimester preparing for my first birth, and like all of us, forced to stay in our homes. At that time, I did Pilates at home and walked daily to help manage the severe back pain I was experiencing nearing the end of my pregnancy.

I fully leaned into Pilates during my postpartum. I listened to my body, took things slow, focused on the breath, and healing my core. My results were so incredible with just focusing on Pilates and leaving behind the high-intensity and heavy lifting for good. My body felt amazing, my mind was clear, and I was better equipped to manage the stress of becoming a new mom. I knew I had to share this way of Pilates for a better life with everyone I knew. At four months postpartum, I designed my PILATESBODY Challenge—8 Weeks to Strengthen Your Inner Core, Build Your Body Confidence, and Cultivate a 360° Approach to a Healthy(ish) Lifestyle.

This challenge is designed with YOU in mind. As a mom of two, I quickly figured out that going to a gym AND doing 60-minute workouts are no longer feasible. This on-demand, follow-along-style, Pilates challenge is programmed with 6 workouts a week averaging 30-minutes per day from the comfort of your home with very minimal equipment! Most of the equipment you probably already have from being a PILATESBODY On-Demand subscriber!

The PILATESBODY Challenge Experience

An on-demand, comprehensive Pilates-based Guide, the PILATESBODY Challenge is designed with your success, ease, and enjoyment in mind for instilling healthy(ish) lifestyle habits that stick.

I will be your Pilates coach over 8 short weeks. You will learn everything you need to know on how to restore your core, tone your booty, and build your full body confidence. Private 1:1 Virtual Coaching Sessions

If you are ready to level-up and follow a guided challenge designed to get you results and hold you accountable, this challenge is for you! Accountability is key to your personal growth and success. You will have 2 Private Virtual Coaching Sessions with me during weeks 2 and 5 of the challenge. In your first private session, I will support you on a succession plan for completion, break down core breathing, and discuss any other concerns or individualized exercise questions. And trust me. Pilates “done right” involves A LOT of questions, so ask away!

Group Coaching + Community Accountability

You will gain lifetime access to my PILATESBODY Challengers VIP Facebook Community, and every week of the challenge we will have 1 Virtual Group Coaching Call to check-in. These are additional opportunities to ask me questions, gain the support from other women partaking in the challenge, and bounce those healthy(ish) ideas off one another to keep the motivation up!

Grab your PILATESBODY On-Demand Workout Calendars below for April 2023! Our certified Pilates and yoga instructors want to help you get in your daily movement and guide you into making exercise a routine. This will help you keep a healthy body and mind. To make fitting your workouts into your daily life easier, we have created these workout calendars for you! We hope you enjoy them and get much benefit from them.

Here’s what you can expect each day of the April Workout Calendar. Are you ready?!

April Daily Workout Focuses

SUNDAY: Recovery/Rest Day
MONDAY: Core + Abs
TUESDAY: Full Body
WEDNESDAY: Intention*
THURSDAY: Recovery/Rest Day or Workout of Choice
FRIDAY: Lower Body
SATURDAY: Upper Body/Intention*
* Intention focused days mean the workouts have a specific goal in mind (i.e. sleep, booty, pelvic floor, strength, etc.)

How to Follow the Pilates Workout Calendars

  • Choose either calendar to download: the Pilates workout calendar or the pregnancy-safe Prenatal Pilates and yoga workout calendar.
  • Subscribe to the PILATESBODY On-Demand App to find all of the workout videos you need for this month’s calendar!
  • The calendars are programmed for 4 workouts and 3 recovery/rest days per week. This sets you up for success to complete all 4 workouts, as well as fitting in any additional exercise you personally may do on top of Pilates.
  • Do each video once and check it off as you go.
  • Each day, the workout classes average about 30-minutes and have a specific focus in mind depending on the day of the week.
  • On the PBOD App, you can search all these classes in the search bar, and click the heart icon to “favorite” each workout for easy access.
  • New workout calendars will be released every month and can be easily downloaded right here on the blog.

The workout calendars will change each month to keep your workouts fresh and exciting. Be sure to check our blog every month to download your workout calendar, or sign up for our email newsletter to automatically receive the free calendar in your inbox on the 1st of every month!

After you download your free PILATESBODY On-Demand workout calendar, you can save it to your phone for easy accessibility.
